The meeting was called to order at 6:02 p.m., with all members present.

Mayor Irons sought Council consensus to have one Public Comment period at the beginning of
the meeting for all items on the agenda.

Dan Sedley, Morro Bay, expressed appreciation for the outgoing and newly elected City
Council members and asked the Council to affirm its commitment to the Code of Civility.
John Weiss, Morro Bay, congratulated those newly elected and appreciated the Proposition 218
protests will be counted.
Bob Keller, Morro Bay, thanked the outgoing Mayor and Council Members for their service.
Rigmor, Morro Bay, expressed her appreciation for the outgoing Council and their
accomplishments these past four years.
Christine Johnson, Morro Bay, shared her gratitude for all who ran for office and to the outgoing
Council for their leadership and dedication.
The Public Comment period was closed.

RECOMMENDATION: Approve as submitted.
A-2 APPROVAL OF MINUTES FOR THE OCTOBER 23, 2018 CITY COUNCIL MEETING;
(ADMINISTRATION)
RECOMMENDATION: Approve as submitted.
A-3 APPROVAL OF MINUTES FOR THE NOVEMBER 27, 2018 CITY COUNCIL MEETING;
(ADMINISTRATION)
RECOMMENDATION: Approve as submitted.
A-4 ADOPTION OF RESOLUTION NO. 99-18 DECLARING THE RESULTS OF THE
GENERAL MUNICIPAL ELECTION
RECOMMENDATION: Adopt Resolution No. 99-18.
Council Member McPherson commented Ordinance No. 615 provided as Exhibit B in Item A-4
was corrected to reflect July 1, 2018 is the correct application date.
MOTION: Council Member Headding moved the Council approve all items on the Consent
Agenda with the noted correction on Item A-4, as discussed. The motion was
.seconded by Council Member Davis and carried unanimously, 5-0.
