A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL
OF THE CITY OF MORRO BAY, CALIFORNIA
DIRECTING THE LEVY OF THE ANNUAL ASSESSMENT FOR THE NORTH POINT
NATURAL AREA LANDSCAPING AND LIGHTING MAINTENANCE
ASSESSMENT DISTRICT PURSUANT TO THE
"LANDSCAPING AND LIGHTING ACT OF 1972"
(STREETS AND HIGHWAYS SECTIONS 22600 ET. SEQ.)
THE CITY COUNCIL
City of Morro Bay, California
WHEREAS, on May 81 20187 the City Council adopted Resolution No. 24-18 declaring the
Council's intent to levy an assessment for the annual maintenance of the North Point Natural Area
Landscaping and Lighting Maintenance Assessment District (the "District") and approving the
Engineers Report; and
WHEREAS, a public hearing regarding the levy of the annual assessment of the District
was scheduled for June 26, 2018 at 6:00 p.m. in the Veteran's Memorial Building; and
WHEREAS, notices regarding the proposed assessment listing the date, time and location
of the protest hearing were published in the local newspaper; and
WHEREAS, the City Council did take public testimony from all interested parties as to the
levy of the annual assessment for the District on June 26, 2018, at the Veteran's Memorial
Building.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Morro Bay,
1. The annual levy for the maintenance of the District generally located as shown on
Exhibit "A" attached hereto is hereby ordered and the assessment of $5,645 to be equally
distributed per assessable parcel for the Fiscal Year 2018/19 is hereby confirmed.
2. Adoption of this Resolution shall constitute the levy of an assessment for the Fiscal
Year 2018/19 and the City Clerk shall file the diagram and assessment with the County of San
Luis Obispo Auditor.
PASSED AND ADOPTED by the City Council of the City of Morro Bay at a regular meeting
held this 26th day of June, 2018 by the following roll call vote:
AYES: Irons, Davis, Headding, Makowetski
NOES: None
ABSENT: McPherson I

The boundary diagrams for the District have previously been submitted to the City Clerk in the
format required under the 1972 Act and, by reference, are hereby made part of this Report. The
boundary diagrams are available for inspection at the office of the City Clerk during normal
business hours. The following diagram provides an overview of the District.
