SPECIAL CLOSED SESSION MEETING —
JUNE 14, 2022 — 4:00 P.M.
TELECONFERENCE

MEETING DATE: August 9, 2022
City Council conducted this meeting in accordance with Assembly Bill 361 (2021-22) and Government Code
section 54953 in response to the present State of Emergency inexistence due to the threat of COVID-19. This
meeting was held via teleconference for all participants.

ESTABLISH QUORUM AND CALL TO ORDER
Mayor Headding called the meeting to order at 4:00 p.m. with all members present.
SUMMARY OF CLOSED SESSION ITEMS — The Mayor read a summary of Closed Session items.
CLOSED SESSION PUBLIC COMMENT — Mayor Headding opened public comment for items on the agenda.
Robert Rodriguez, Boys and Girls Club, thanked staff for providing space for the Boys and Girls Club and looks
forward to partnering with the city and school district for youth programs.
Michael Boyer, Boys and Girls Club, expressed excitement to partner with the city and looks forward to serving
the youths in the Morro Bay community and hopes to make this program successful.
Giovanni DeGarimore, Owner of Giovanni's Fish Market, expressed appreciation to the city and is hopeful that
the city will have an open mind that can work for all.
The public comment period was closed.
Due to technical difficulties, the meeting adjourned at 4:15 pm and resumed at 4:22 pm with all Council
Members present.
The City Council moved to Closed Session and heard the following items:
