RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL
OF THE CITY OF MORRO BAY, CALIFORNIA
APPROVING A LEASE AGREEMENT WITH THE STATE OF CALIFORNIA
DEPARTMENT OF FISH AND WILDLIFE FOR EXCLUSIVE TIE-UP SPACE
ON THE NORTH T-PIER FOR A PATROL VESSEL
ACCOMMODATION DOCK
THE CITY COUNCIL
City of Morro Bay, California
WHEREAS, in 2003, the City of Morro Bay entered into a three-year Lease
Agreement with the State of California Department of Fish and Wildlife for exclusive tie-
up space on the North T-Pier for an accommodation dock for the Department of Fish and
Wildlife's patrol vessel BLUEFIN; and
WHEREAS, since 2003 the original and subsequent Lease Agreements were
administratively approved by the Harbor Department; and
WHEREAS, the California Department of Department of Fish and Wildlife
wishes to continue the use and enter into a new two-year Lease Agreement; and
WHEREAS, the California Department of Department of Fish and Wildlife and
Morro Bay Harbor Department have agreed to' terms and conditions to enter into a two-
year Lease Agreement.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of
Morro Bay, California as follows:
A Lease Agreement with the State of California Department of Fish and
Wildlife for a two-year Lease Agreement for exclusive use of a portion of the
North T-Pier is hereby approved, and the Mayor is hereby authorized to
execute that Lease Agreement.
PASSED AND ADOPTED by the City Council of the City of Morro Bay at a
regular meeting thereof held on the 9th day of June, 2015 on the following vote:
AYES: Irons, Headding, Johnson, Makowetski, Smukler
