A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL
OF THE CITY OF MORRO BAY, CALIFORNIA,
AUTHORIZING THE CITY OF MORRO BAY TO ENTER
INTO A 2017/2018 SURRENDERED AND ABANDONED VESSEL EXCHANGE
CONTRACT WITH THE DIVISION OF BOATING AND WATERWAYS
THE CITY COUNCIL
City of Morro Bay, California
WHEREAS, City of Morro Bay (City) applied for a Surrendered and Abandoned
Vessel Exchange (SAVE) Grant from State of California Division of Boating and
Waterways (DBW) in the Amount of $25,000.00; and
WHEREAS, DBW awarded the City of Morro Bay a SAVE grant in the amount of
$25,000.00, which will allow the City the ability to utilize the funds as deemed necessary
for removal of abandoned and surrendered vessels and hazards to navigation; and
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Morro
Bay, California as follows:
1. The City is hereby authorized to enter into a SAVE gra
#C17S0602, in the amount of $25,000.00 for
abandoned/surrendered vessels and hazards to navigation.

2. Harbor Director Eric Endersby is hereby authorized to act as the City's agent
in regard to all aspects Of the grant agreement.
PASSED AND ADOPTED by the City Council of the City of Morro Bay at a
regular meeting thereof held on the 12th day of September 2017 on the following vote:
AYES: Irons, Davis, Headding, Makowetski, McPherson
