RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL
OF THE CITY OF MORRO BAY, CALIFORNIA
RESCINDING RESOLUTIONS 04-03, 07-04 AND 2742 WHICH DISCOURAGE OR
PROHIBIT STREET WORK DURING CERTAIN TIMES OF THE YEAR
THECITYCOUNCIL
City of Morro Bay, California
WHEREAS, the City Council of Morro Bay has previously resolved to limit the times
during which street maintenance work may be performed; and
WHEREAS, the limits to the times during which street maintenance work may be
performed has caused delays in projects and increased the cost of street maintenance work; and
WHEREAS, the City understands Street Maintenance work can be disruptive to the
public.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Morro
Bay, California:
1. Resolutions No. 04-03, 07-04 and 2742 are hereby rescinded.
2. Public Works staff is directed to work with the affected parties to schedule street
maintenance work to minimize any adverse impact on the public.
PASSED AND ADOPTED by the City Council of the City of Morro Bay at a regular
meeting thereof held on the 14' day of June 2016 by the following vote:
AYES: Irons, Headding, Johnson, Makowetski, Smukler
NOES: None
ABSENT: None
ABSTAIN: None
