A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL
OF THE CITY OF MORRO BAY, CALIFORNIA,
AUTHORIZING THE CITY OF MORRO BAY TO ENTER
INTO A 201712018 SURRENDERED AND ABANDONED VESSEL EXCHANGE
CONTRACT WITH THE DIVISION OF BOATING AND WATERWAYS
THE CITY COUNCIL
City of Morro Bay, California
WHEREAS, City ofi Morro Bay (City) applied fior a Surrendered and Abandoned
Vessel Exchange (SAVE) Grant from State of California Division of Boating and
Waterways in the Amount of $25,000.00; and
WHEREAS, DBW awarded the City a SAVE grant in the. amount of $16,100.00,
which will allow the City the ability to utilize the funds as deemed necessary for removal
A abandoned and surrendered vessels and hazards to navigation; and
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Morro
Bay, California as follows:
1. The City _hereby .accepts SAVE Contract Agreement #C17S0602-S, in the
amount of $16,100 for removal of abandoned/surrendered vessels and
hazards to navigation.
2. Harbor Director Eric Endersby is hereby authorized to sign and act as the
City's agent in regard to all aspects of the grant agreement.
PASSED AND ADOPTED by the City Council of the City of Morro Bay at a
regular meeting thereof held on the 27th day of March 2018 on the following vote:
AYES: Irons, Davis, Headding, Makowetski, McPherson
