HomeMy WebLinkAboutReso 52-19 Levying North Point Assessments FY 19-20RESOLUTION NO. 52-19 A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF MORRO BAY, CALIFORNIA DIRECTING THE LEVY OF THE ANNUAL ASSESSMENT FOR THE NORTH POINT NATURAL AREA LANDSCAPING AND LIGHTING MAINTENANCE ASSESSMENT DISTRICT PURSUANT TO THE "LANDSCAPING AND LIGHTING ACT OF 1972" (STREETS AND HIGHWAYS SECTIONS 22500 ET. SEQ.) WHEREAS, on the Council's intent to Natural Area Landsca� THE CITY COUNCIL City of Morro Bay, California May 14, 2019, the City Council adopted Resolution No. 34-19 declaring l ,evy an assessment for the annual maintenance of the North Point ing and Lighting Maintenance Assessment District (the "District") and approving the Engineers R eport; and WHEREAS, a public hearing regarding the levy of the annual assessment of the District as scheduled for June 25, 2019 at or about 5030 p.m. i wn the Veteran's Memorial Building; and WHEREAS, location of the prote notices regarding st hearing were pub the proposed assessment listing the date, time and lished in the local newspaper; and WHEREAS, the City Council did take public testimony from all interested parties as to the levy of the annual assessment for the District on June 25, 2019, at the Veteran's Memorial Building. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Morro Bay, 1. The annual levy for the maintenance of the District generally located as shown on Exhibit attached hereto, is hereby ordered and the assessment of $5,645 to be equally distributed per assessable parcel for the Fiscal Year 2019/20 is hereby confirmed. 2. Adoption of this Resolution shall constitute the levy of an assessment for the Fiscal Year 2019/20 and the City Clerk shall file the diagram and assessment with the County of San Luis Obispo Auditor.
