SPECIAL CLOSED SESSION MEETING –
MARCH 5, 2015
CITY HALL CONFERENCE ROOM – 4:30 P.M.
PRESENT: Jamie Irons Mayor
Christine Johnson Councilmember
Matt Makowetski Councilmember
Noah Smukler Councilmember
STAFF: David Buckingham City Manager
Joe Pannone City Attorney
ESTABLISH QUORUM AND CALL TO ORDER
A quorum was established with Mayor Irons, Councilmember Johnson, Councilmember
Makowetski and Councilmember Smukler present. The meeting was called to order at 4:45pm.
SUMMARY OF CLOSED SESSION ITEMS - The Mayor read a summary of Closed Session
items.
CLOSED SESSION PUBLIC COMMENTS - Mayor Irons opened the meeting for public
comments for items only on the agenda; seeing none, the public comment period was closed.
The City Council moved to Closed Session and heard the following items:
CS-1 CONFERENCE WITH LEGAL COUNSEL – PENDING LITIGATION
PURSUANT TO GOVERNMENT CODE 54956.9(d)(1)
Medina v. City of Morro Bay, San Luis Obispo Superior Court Case #14CV0214
The City Council reconvened to Open Session.
The City Attorney reported that with regards to the Closed Session Item, the Council did not take
any reportable action pursuant to the Brown Act.
ADJOURNMENT
The meeting adjourned at 4:54pm.
