SPECIAL MEETING – MAY 26, 2015

A quorum was established and the meeting was called to order at 4:03pm
The public comment period was opened; seeing none, the public comment period was closed.

City Manager Buckingham introduced Amy Paul and Preeti Hehmeyer from Management Partners,
who presented the May 2015 Financial and Organization Study, and responded to Council inquiries.
II. PRESENTATION OF A PROCLAMATION RECOGNIZING THE CONTRIBUTION BY
THE SHULTZ FAMILY TRUST TO THE MORRO BAY FIRE DEPARTMENT AND
CITIZENS OF MORRO BAY AND NAMING LADDER TRUCK 5341 AS “HEFTY
HENRY”

MOTION: Mayor Irons moved to approve the Proclamation as presented. The motion was
seconded by Councilmember Headding and carried unanimously, 5-0.
The Council recessed and then, at 5:30 reconvened the meeting outside the Veteran’s Hall to
present the proclamation naming Ladder Truck 5341 as “Hefty Henry.”
ADJOURNMENT
The meeting adjourned at 5:59pm.
