SPECIAL CLOSED SESSION MEETING –
JUNE 13, 2014
CITY HALL CONFERENCE ROOM – 8:30 A.M.

ESTABLISH QUORUM AND CALL TO ORDER
Mayor Irons called the meeting to order at 8:35am.
SUMMARY OF CLOSED SESSION ITEMS - The Mayor read a summary of Closed Session
items.
CLOSED SESSION PUBLIC COMMENTS - Mayor Irons opened the meeting for Public
Comments.
MOTION: Mayor Irons moved to accept and file the public comment sent via email
to the Council from John Headding who was unable to attend. The motion was seconded
by Councilmember Smukler and carried unanimously.
Ayes: Irons, C. Johnson, N. Johnson, Leage, Smukler
No’s: None
The public comment period was closed.
The City Council moved to Closed Session and heard the following item:
CS-1 GOVERNMENT CODE SECTION 54957(b)(1) – PUBLIC EMPLOYEE
APPOINTMENT:
Title: City Manager
CITY COUNCIL CONVENED TO OPEN SESSION
The City Attorney reported that with regards to the Closed Session Item, the Council did not take
any reportable action pursuant to the Brown Act.
ADJOURNMENT
The meeting adjourned at 1:35pm.
