SPECIAL CLOSED SESSION MEETING MARCH 31. 2022 — 5:00 P.M.

MEETING DATE: April 12, 2022
City Council conducted this meeting in accordance with Assembly Bill 361 (2021-22) and Government Code
section 54953 in response to the present State of Emergency in existence due to the threat of COVID-19. This
meeting was held via teleconference for all participants.

ESTABLISH QUORUM AND CALL TO ORDER
Mayor Headding called the meeting to order at 5:00 p.m. with all but Council Member Addis present. Council
Member Addis joined the meeting at 5:02 p m.
SUMMARY OF CLOSED SESSION ITEMS — The Mayor read a summary of Closed Session items.
CLOSED SESSION PUBLIC COMMENT — Mayor Headding opened public comment for items on the agenda;
seeing none, the public comment period was closed.
The City Council moved to Closed Session and heard the following items:

CONFERENCE WITH LABOR NEGOTIATORS
City Designated Representative: Colin Tanner, Special Labor Counsel
Employee Organizations: Morro Bay Firefighters' Association; Morro Bay Peace Officers' Association;
Service Employee's International Union - SEIU Local 620; and unrepresented Management,
Confidential and Executive employees
RECONVENE IN OPEN SESSION — The City Council reconvened in Open Session. The Council did not take
any reportable action in accordance with the Brown Act.
ADJOURNMENT - The meeting adjourned at 6:02 p.m.
