RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL
OF THE CITY OF MORRO BAY, CALIFORNIA,
APPROVING THE PARCEL MAP M822-0044 AND ACCEPTANCE OF
RELOCATED EASEMENT
THE CITY COUNCIL
City of Morro Bay, California
WHEREAS, on January 3, 2023 the Planning Commission did hold a public hearing,
received public testimony, and after closing the public hearing fully considered the various
issues surrounding the case; and
WHEREAS, the Planning Commission did approve the Tentative Parcel Map (PAR22-
02) and Coastal Development Permit (CDP21-014), and associated development applications,
subject to certain Conditions of Approval. The Tentative Parcel Map PAR22-02 will be recorded
under the designation of Parcel Map M1322-0025; and
WHEREAS, the Planning Commission has previously made findings required by the
California Environmental Quality Act (CEQA) and the City of Morro Bay procedures for
implementation of CEQA; and
WHEREAS the applicant has since satisfied all Conditions of Approval and requests
permission to record the Parcel Map; and
WHEREAS, the recordation of the Parcel Map is a ministerial act pursuant to the City of
Morro Bay Subdivision Ordinance and California Subdivision Map Act as the City Engineer has
reviewed and confirmed the Parcel Map is in substantial compliance with the approved tentative
map pursuant to Government Code Section 66474.1; and
WHEREAS, recordation of the Parcel Map further requires City Council approval of the
relocation of a 5' public sewer easement as shown in the plans and approvals attendant to
Tentative Parcel Map (PAR22-02) and Parcel Map (MB22-0025).
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Morro Bay,
California, that the City hereby approves Parcel Map MB22-0025 as being in substantial
conformance pursuant to Government Code Section 66474.1, and approves the relocation of a
5' public sewer easement as shown in the plans and approvals attendant to Tentative Parcel
Map (PAR22-02) ) and Parcel Map (MB22-0025).
PASSED AND ADOPTED by the City Council of the City of Mono Bay, California, at a
regular meeting held on the 121 day of March 2024 by the following vote:
AYES: Wixom, Barton, Edwards, Ford, Barton
